As a new homebuyer, there are many things on your mind and construction should be the least of your worries. At Lindvest, we are committed to building quality homes, safer homes and greener homes. And that's the reason why we employ the finest of tradespeople, use the best construction materials, and adhere to the Ontario Building Code strictly. We take pride in the homes we build, so that you can always feel at home.
QUALITY: The one thing we are inflexible about at Lindvest is quality. Every Lindvest home is a singular example of quality and craftsmanship. All our homes undergo a rigorous schedule of inspections, so that you never have to worry. Quality inspections are conducted at every stage of the construction process, and this ensures that your home is always outstanding.
DELAYS: One of the most exciting things about buying a new home is seeing it take shape. While there are many landmark moments, there are also unforeseen situations that can affect the construction of your new home. As an experienced builder, Lindvest has practices and processes in place to eliminate or minimize delays.
Building a Lindvest Home
- Stage One Excavation & Foundation
- Stage Two Framing & Lock-Up
- Stage Three Finishing Interiors & Exteriors
The anticipation of moving into your new home is perhaps the most exciting stage of your home buying process. Your Lindvest home is ready and there are just a few days left for you to move in. Before we hand over the keys, Lindvest will conduct a Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI).
What is a PDI?
A PDI is your first opportunity to view your completed home and inspect it in detail to make sure everything has been done right and according to plan. A PDI is also a prerequisite of our Home Warranty Plan.
Before you move into your new home, a Lindvest representative will take you on a walkthrough of your house. During this walkthrough, our representative will conduct a comprehensive inspection of your home to note any defects or incomplete items and will ensure anything we might find is corrected before you take possession. The Lindvest representative will also take this opportunity to familiarize you with your home's mechanical systems ventilation, plumbing and heating, and provide essential tips on home maintenance.
Essential Features of a PDI
