On November 8, 2010 the Community of Grand Cornell was chosen as the winner of 'Community Design' in the Town of Markham 'Design Excellence Awards'.

With so many entries it is a tremendous honour that this community developed by Lindvest, a partner of H&R in the building of the community, was bestowed with this award. The many years of planning and beautiful open-space system with both natural and man-made landscapes have truly resulted in a fantastic neighbourhood and wonderful place to live!
