At an event hosted by H&R/Lindvest, Councillor Giorgio Mammoliti and Lorraine Chabot-Vecera of the Emery Village BIA and a representative of H&R/Lindvest, had the pleasure of turning the sod for the new park at Westown. The event took place at the Westown Sales Office where a large reception tent set up in the parking area featured renderings and plans of the final park design.

The beautiful open space incorporates a running track, mini soccer field, kiosk, playground, splash pad and outdoor ice-skating rink in the winter.

This long awaited venue has now become a reality as the community is quickly taking shape with construction well under way.
